Tuesday 22nd April - Virginia Barrett Carden Arms, Tilston. 8.30pm. Details from Steve: 01829 250502 Virginia Barrett is IMHO a very gifted young woman. With her accompanist, Steve, who is a really brilliant guitarist, she has visited two folk clubs/ folk nights that I go to regularly and both times has left us all smiling! My own preference is for trad. and I normally don't like singer/songwriters and modern 'folk' but I really like Virginia so that must say something about how good she is. We want a good turn out for Virginia so, if you live near enough, please come on Tuesday. I think the ticket price is only £5 which has to be a real bargain. Ring Steve to reserve tickets or pay at the door. Come if you can - it should be a really good night and it's good to support these talented young acts who are working to get their careers established. PM me if you want a map or any other info.
