On subject of violence---and as said earlier Shakespeare also used it as part of the story line since it was an important factor. This aside from my comparisons of the various versions of Hamlet and Henry V. Let me mention another film---to me a classic and not for the squeamish and tells a sad tale of the human condition and its failings with regard to frustration and to bigotry. THE OX BOW INCIDENT. Hard to watch but moving, wrenching, and hopefully teaches us all something. Bill Hahn
