Well, we just heard back from our scamming friend...He's said a terrible tragedy as struck. The groom's father has suffered cardiac arrest. They are postponing the wedding a few weeks and sincerely hope we can still play. They are also willing to "pay" us for our inconvenience of the postponement. I'm sure if we just give them our bank account number we'll get the payment in no time.
Just remember, if it smells bad (or too good to be true) it probably is.
