Re Tradsinger's Gloucestershire version, I once heard a politically incorrect version of the final stanza to the tune of "Yankee Doodle": Be I Berkshire, be I b*ggery I comes up from Wareham Where all the girls wear calico drawers And I knows how to tear 'em I seem to remember that this was during a drunken 2 hour lunch in a Young's pub in Croydon about 35 years ago.
