The only good thing about the high cost of oil is that it will significantly raise my share of the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend. Rumor has it that 2008 should bring each of us $2600 this coming October. That should buy a tank of fuel or two for the old 4x4. No sales tax, no state income tax, and a nice check in the PO Box. Alaska is a great place to live. Mike
