The actor who played the concertina for the Morris dance on "Dad's Army" was Peter Honri who made only the one appearance in the series - "The Godiva Affair" He was credited as Private Day. He played the concertina in his first London Appearance in 1948 at a music hall and went on to establish a career in Variety, Revues, Pantos and Musicals. (from "The A-Z of Dad's Army" by Richard Webber, David Croft and Jimmy Perry) Looking at the episode I think he made a ten second appearance in vision in the background whilst his playing was heard behind Jones and Fraser knocking seven bells out of each other!
