I was actually "paced" into an accident one night.
I was behind a little brown Honda on a country road in North Carolina waiting patiently (well, as patient as one can be with what was going on) for the opportunity to pass the honda because the driver (I'll mention it was a she just because it will speed along the story) was doing 10 under the speed limit (55 mph). When she got up to 50 MPH she would actually put on her brakes to slow down again. I followed her for about twenty miles until I was safely able to pass. I put on my turn signal and began passing on the left (two lane road with a divided line on my side). I was at 55 MPH (She never hit 55 in the whole time I was behind her so why go faster?) and was going to pull back in ahead of her when I looked over and found she was still right next to me. I slowed down to get behind her and she did the same. With traffic coming at me I put on the brake to get behind her but she was still there. I dodged as far to the left as I could but didn't manage to miss the bus coming head on at me. She kept on going even though she witnessed the crash! She phoned later on that night to tell the police but her story had me speeding and swerving and the rain falling heavily. The bus driver and passenger's stories to the police all matched mine (it wasn't even raining at the time!) It also turned out that she had been involved in the same type of accident before.

The worst thing is that she is still out there somewhere!
