My wife was born in Macclesfield. The one time (31 years ago) that we visited we had a very quick car tour. I seem to recall walking along a bluff called Alderley Edge and viewing what I was told was the whole county of Cheshire. Is this the same place? If so it would be a great song to learn and surprise my in-laws (not to mention my wife). Is the song in the DT? I tried wizard and edge and alderly and didn't seem to find it. Infoseek didn't find any mention of the song. Are there recorded sources? Frank Phillips
