Veteran Eurovision Song Contest commentator Sir Terry Wogan said last night he may quit covering the event after Britain's poor result.

Sir Terry said the British entry deserved more votes than it received and I will have to decide if I want to cover this event again after this disappointing result. Britain only received 14 points.


Sir Terry spoke out near the end of his commentary after Britain's entry Andy Abraham came 53rd in the contest.
The former binman finished joint last of the 25 finalists.

Russia romped to victory with a massive 272 points with a ballad called Believe.
