Many MANY moons ago, I was invited to an end-of-year social 'do' by a fellow teacher who went through college with me. It was (I recall - hopefully correctly) somewhere in Preston/Heidelberg/Bundoora (Melbourne) and the entertainment was provided by a Bush Band with the unlikely name of "Paradiddle". These guys were brilliant and were the inspiration for me to explore the whole Australian Traditional/Bush/folk music genre. Up until then about all I was familiar with was Click Go the Shears, The Drovers Dream, The Old Bark Hut and bloody 'Waltzing Matilda'. Does anyone know what became of them - or whether thewy 'evolved' into a new format - - - just curious.
