Frank White retired his site to three individuals just before the summer of 2002. One of them kept the site for private use. One of them had the best intentions, but failed to follow through. The third, of course, was GEST, which has grown from Frank's original 500 or so songs to the current 2,300.

The quantity of MIDI files and guitar chords has greatly increased as well. Starting in the last week of April of this year, YouTube videos are also being added - 117 to date. Other additional features started right from our beginning were historical and biographical notes accompanying archived items, individual collections such as Peacock, Leach, and Lehr/Best, and the GEST Forum. The number of individual artist listing pages has more than doubled.

We appreciate the vast input given GEST by hundreds of contributors, MIDI file sequencers, videographers, and folks like yourself who recognize the fruits of our labour. Thank-you.
