but I like the thought that one of the last things that went through his mind was music.

He died at 5am on friday June 13th.
He was almost 76. He and my mom were together for 57 years (married for 52).

As painful as it was, and he will always be a part of me, it was a privilege to be with him in his last days. I think for him as well it was a beautiful way to go with family around, all differences forgiven.

at a later time I will post a link to his memorial and celebrate his life and achievements.

Good bye Dad, we love you, thank you for teaching us the important things.
