On a side note, the color 'Isabella" is indeed a taupe-beige-fawn color named after Isabella of Spain, the same one who sponsored Columbus -- legend is that she vowed not to change her chemise (undergarment) until the Moors were thrown out of all Spain -- and it took something like 50 years. So you can imagine the color her linen got to be by that time...

Russian Blue cats (and Blue Abyssinians) are also variants of slate-grey, as are blue-roan horses or cattle.
