"Ah, but the Bacca Pipes tune isn't a jig. In Morris, the word "jig" describes a solo dance (or sometimes two dancers), it has nothing to do with the rhythm of the music." When it comes to morris jigs, I think its impossible to apply time signatures or any of the normal rules of music!
