Sorry, I don't know anything about the LOC stuff on CD; I've never heard any of them. I'm one of the last dinosaurs converting to CD and didn't even have a player until about 3 years ago. I had -- still have -- these recordings on the 3-LP Elektra set from the late 1960s, whose notes leave a little to be desired (song texts are good and very accurate, but the dates/places of the recordings are omitted altogether), though they do include much of the conversation before and after the songs, and the talk is transcribed in the notes booklet.
