What a coincidental thread... For the last few weeks I've been searching for and collecting songs of Newfoundland and Labrador which are available from CBC Radio3. This free Internet station helps users create a playlist which can be embedded into their own Web site. The result of my efforts is a 35-song playlist of fairly new recordings which I've been listening to for more than an hour as I browse the Net. I lost the play for a minute when I went to a page with a streaming video on it, but I backed out and clicked on the window with the page of the player and it picked up right where it left off. I find this fascinating since I selected all the songs, their lyrics are on my own site, and now I can listen to them as I sit here writing this post in the Mudcat. :-)
