Only one? Tom Paxton's Whose Garden was This?; Green Fields of France (any good version); ending on a lighter note with Melanie Safka's I Don't Eat Animals. I'd hope people might think more about the songs' meanings than my departure... There are some beautiful, sad, songs which are traditionally considered more suitable for funerals, but you have to ask yourself: do you really want songs that could reduce people to sobbing their hearts out at your funeral? I don't. But if they want to shed a tear over the state of the planet or war, fine.
