Just read the review in today's (Tuesday's) Times. The reviewer (Geoff Brown) approaches his topic from the point of view of 'Serious Music' looking in - Radio Three vs. The World. And yes, the RAH acoustics are notorious if you wish to analyse any performer's diction. I had the same problem listening to the Watersons in concert there a year ago. The only thing he said I can agree with, is that Folk Day was something of a missed opportunity for lover of Serious Music and Folk/Traditional Music alike, for completely different reasons.
