Janet was a wonderful, strong, caring person with a lot of courage. Both of us shared the bittersweet experience of caring for disabled sons. My son, John, has been handicapped from birth but her son was injured in an accident at the peak of his young manhood. This is a tougher situation. We gave each other comfort and advice around this issue and I always appreciated her emotional honesty.
