Having been reading this thread and being a Broadstairs Festival attender since 1978 (missed one caus I was hospitalised) I come to the conclusion that Richard Bridge is in polite English a moaner. There is room for all types of music at the festival and todays Woodshed is an example we had some really nice singer songwriters and not the usual Irish and wild Rovers. Woodshed says nothing about the gendre of music played once it is acoustic
