About ten years ago I was at a party where the host's friend entertained at a rehearsal dinner clambake as a favor. One of the songs was a big hit and of course I never thought to ask about a particular song I am now interested in. The verses were sung by the entertainer and the audience sang the chorus. The chorus was the same every time except that one word was dropped off after each verse...

"Oh Captin please don't....." "Oh Captain please" "Oh Captain" "Oh"

As I said, it was very funny and I would like to get a copy of it - or at least the lyrics. Does anyone recognize this song?
