Insane Beard and Kat---When I said this was most likely a marketing label I did not mean it in negative terms. I think my statement is true, but marketing is not, to me, an inherently bad thing. And, yes , I think "folk" is often used as a marketing label as well. That doesn't particularly trouble me either, but I suspect it does trouble some folks. Also, I don't think psych folk (or freak folk, furry folk, or trad folk) is inherently good or bad musically. I've got to hear it. As I said above, somes good, some ain't, and we may all differ as to which is which. That's fine. I like lots of different stuff.
