It wasn't right when they smeared Kerry's military record, and it's not right to do it to McCain. Both men are one in a thousand in the book of heroism. Certainly, they made mistakes - but both are genuine and admirable heroes. I think Barack Obama is a hero, too - but he showed his courage in non-military situations. Don't ask me about George W.
