Betsy Have been an occasional visitor to Mudcat for a long time, but can't remember when I began to 'pop in', but it is not very often. Have started to think about retirement, but I love to play and sing. The guitar has always been an aid to singing and not the other way around. I can strum out the chords and I am told that I can put across a song, but my guitar work leaves a lot to be desired and with tired old hands it's not going to improve dramatically. For example. I have begun to learn "Mr Tambourine Man' by the Byrds and I am quite pleased with the results so far, but can I pick out the simple little intro???? Not yet, but give me a month or two :-) My life is pretty full so I try not to get involved in things that I know I won't follow up on. I was involved in a Forum for a long time and the musical star that owned the site even wrote to me, but it was spoiled by people bitching and carrying on, so now I keep it at arms length. BS
