spiderman, I really like the way you explain this. The references/videos I've seen so far seem to waste a lot of time on how to retune rather than on what to do then. I'm looking for a system that can be generally applied without having to work out special arrangements for each song. 'Picking out the melody while hitting random strings' sounds very encouraging!
