> Looked in on the Radway - mostly diddley stuff when I looked in Um, Chas, we don't do diddley in the Radway ... The Radway was where I spent most of my week, and I thought it was a vintage year. Some lovely music making, and the lunchtime sessions would just keep going for hours! What I saw of the York and Faulkner suggests that is picking up again nicely with some really good singing. I'm sure if someone had organised a ceilidh in the ford during that sunny period on Friday afternoon I would have enjoyed that too. One thing I don't miss about the old festival is the arena. I always disliked the geographical split that caused in the festival; now it's gone the festival is much more coherent. Chris
