I remember him well from occasional appearances the Bath folkclub in late 70s-early 80s. He didn't come too often - I think he was a little peeved that some friends and I had pre-empted him in opening a club. A very fine all-round musician (sensibly, he didn't sing much!), playing the uillean pipes as well as the hammered psaltery in those days. And his then-wife Lorraine was a real sweetie. I wonder what she ended up doing? He did indeed write the music for "Joseph Andrews", which featured many location shots in Bath.
