Not wishing to correct Seamus...but I guess I am...sorry, Seamus. The original line up was 4-Ronnie, Luke, Barney and Ciaron. They were known as the Ronnie Drew Group - then changed their name to the Dubliners - at Luke's suggestion. The 4 recorded one album - titled "the Dubliners with Luke Kelly" and appeared on a couple of festival recordings (with the Corrie Folk Trio and others). Luke left in 1964 and John and Bobby Lynch joined and that line up recorded one LP - "In Concert". There are videos of this line up on youtube and they are billed as the Ronnie Drew group...but had already recorded as and were known as the Dubliners. Luke came back in '65/66 and Bobby Lynch left. Ronnie Drew, Luke Kelly, Barney McKenna, Ciaron Bourke and John Sheehan remained until 1974 when Ciaron suffered a brain hemorrhage. It'sTheDubliners.com Nick
