Wasn't Tiki Torches at Midnight the works of Bob "Frizz" Fuller? It is possible that they colaborated but I know Friz penned it. Chris Darrow was a Kaleidescope band member who later worked with the Nitty Gtitty Dirt Band. David, Chris and Friz (at one time) all lived in and around Claremont CA. That was some cultural educational music.
There used to be a local "Stavation Cafe" that on special occassion would feature Friz Fuller or Chris Darrow. One very memorable night David Lindsy's daughter was featured and sang and played a uke sized mandolin, finger picked and was an absolute knock out on stage. She mezmermised the entire audience. Never did get to see David there, but saw Ben Harper (also Claremont) several times before he started touring with Taj Mahal and then rocketed to success with his own band with Virgin Records. Every town in the country should have a Starvation Cafe.
Thanks Johan for some D.L. stuff....
