BK Small guitar advice (36) RE: Small guitar advice 27 Jun 00

SINSULL; An odd one, but worth at least loooking at. The Cort Earth 200 GC - a Korean grand concert; between a martin OO & OOO - something like a B series in the old Gibson nomenclature. Has a solid cedar top, laminated mahogany back & sides, scallopped bracing. Should be able to get one in mid-$200's. I have a Baby Taylor & for several reasons, think a Grand Concert size is better for all around purposes, unless you are really small. Those all-mahogany Martin OO's I've tried I didn't like (& I own several Martins), which brings up another important point; personal taste..

We all vary a lot, so make sure it feels & sounds good to you, no matter what WE say! Chances are you'll own many guitars in your life. This is not the last. I also own a grand-concert sized Seagull - just got it - very wide neck, so I don't think you'll like it.

Cheers & good huntin' BK
