Pete Galligan, musician, wit, storyteller, artist and Cavan man was laid to rest today in Clarenbridge, Co Galway. He joins Mickey Finn, Joe Cooley and Joe Dolan,his dad Dr John and Dr Bill Loughnane, et all, in the Big House Above. I never left a conversation with Pete without a lighter step and a chuckle in my head. Gerry Carthy has photos of Pete and the others going back to the Seventies on his website at www.gerrycarthy.com
