Trying to identify a song I heard in the early 1980s, probably on Mary Cliff's "Traditions" on WETA-FM Washington, DC. The lead singer, I think, was Ann Mayo Muir; she may have had Gordon Bok and Ed Trickett with her. (OR, maybe it was Ronnie Gilbert and some Weavers?) The lyrics went something like: "Ah, the leaves, the quiet leaves/ The wind blows softly through the trees/ [something something something] water." The melody went something like: "G-- AC -- CD D EG--/ GA B C A G F E/ CDE E D C AC..." Neither DigiTrad nor Google have borne fruit. Thanks for any help or ideas... - 'Freddy'
