Had a great night at GY folkclub last night Harvey Andrews was the guest artist. He was in fine voice and I really appreciated his songs (please dont get on the plane) a tribute to Buddy Holly also (cheeky young lad) which I felt was a great story song of Society and its ever changing youth. In all he was on top form gracing us with his dry humour and witty numbers, I also enjoyed Mark campbell and his brother their harmonies were superb and Mark gave us a solo Eric Bogle song for rememberance sunday. In all a great night and good turn out thanks also to Arthur Knevitt for his trad ballads his voice just improves with age. Thanks Arthur for slotting us in for a couple. Simon Johnson.
