Sometimes I get in the mood when singing a particular song will bring me close to tears when I'm on my own. Sometimes I get very sensitive to the point that listening to, or just thinking about some songs is bad enough.. It's less of an issue when performing, partly because I tend to go into "autopilot" mode, and partly because I go easy on songs that are likely to bring myself (or anyone else) to tears unless the time is right.
