Wow, I grew up with my parents always playing folk music around my sister and I. I am 24 now, just got married. My dad bought me a fender about 4 years ago, because I've always wanted to learn how to play guitar like him. I finally took the time to get together with him and learn some basics, and so last night we sat next to the wood stove, and he asked me, "Well what do you want to learn?" And I said how about a song that you always sang us to sleep with, and he started teaching me how to play this one. I got home and wanted to find the lyrics so I could attempt to play the 4 chords and sing :) I get such great memories hearing this song, because he always sang it to us when we were little, and I never even payed attention to the words - Love this song.
