It is a sad fact that people do not attend guests but do attend singers nights, as quote by Henryclem. I have also noticed a trend in 'spotlight' clubs where singers only arrive just in time to do their songs and then greet all their mates after their set, talking loudly and generally being disruptive. The sad fact is people seem to only go to clubs to project there own egos and have little or no interest in others, particularly if they are percived to be better! This is not so much the case at type 2 clubs where most people leave their egos at home and encourage others to have a go. As for me, I am happy to sit and listen to others as long as I get my chance to inflate my ego.
