May be I'm lucky inthe quality (mostly) of our local sing arounds. To Answer Tom I would not want to see the end of concerts as I know many people who are not like me and who would not dream of getting up and performing but who love folk music. I do see that there is a difficulty for middle range performers who may not be well known enough out side their own areas to attract as audience. What the answer to this is I really dont know.
