The present economic conditions have, I think, made landlords realise the advantages of having 15 or 16 people turn up twice a month on the quietest day of the week, drink lots of beer and peaceably go way again, while providing some gentle entertainment for anyone else in the pub. However, there is an old saying which I believe has much truth in it, which goes "once is happenstance, twice is co-incidence, three timews is enemy action" ... Chris
