During my student years (around 1975) I saw Scotty perform a lot in the Amsterdam club Folk Fairport. He always played there on Thursday nights. Wonderful songs, great fun, lots of candle light atmosphere. He made us laugh a lot with his jokes and imitations (Dylan/Cash!). A great composer, entertainer and singer. Once he joined us at our table and talked about his years of 'fame'. He escaped from it to go and do it in his own way. He was really a great person! Geo (from Amsterdam)
