There were 40 J300's made in Early 2006. Prior to that run a one off J300 was made different to the rest in as much as it was made with a Flamed Maple Neck instead of the standard Mahogany neck, making it unique and the only one of it's kind in existence. How do I know this? Because I own that particular guitar, and very beautiful it is to. If you look hard enough you can pick up a standard J300. Well worth the search, a fabulous sounding guitar.
