Joan Baez was born 67 years ago, on January 9, 1941. Can she really be 67? Can I really be 60? I think it's time, once more, for reminiscences and appreciation of her. I'll start with a few live performances of her singing. Classic Joan singing 500 Miles and There but for Fortune at a live concert in the 60s. Historic Joan singing With God on Our Side with Bob Dylan at the Newport Folk Festival, 1963. Contemporary Joan singing There but for Fortune in Glasgow in 2008.
