Hi...

We (Celtic Music radio) have just published our schedules for the next week - see http://www.celticmusicradio.net/schedule.html - which includes a feature on the Glasgow festival of songwriting and live broadcasts from Celtic Connections, both of which start next week.

During Celtic Connections, we'll be broadcasting 10 hours of live material every day from the festival. The typical weekday schedule will look something like:

11.00 - Mark Sheridan's Morning Magazine, live from the exhibition hall, with music, news, interviews, reviews and previews.

12.30 - Iain Anderson in Conversation - Iain, of BBC Scotland fame, hosts a "chat show" with some well known faces from the music, cultural and political world.

13.30 - Gordon Hotchkiss' "HotchPotch" - with festival guests, music, and live performances between 2.00 and 3.00. Entry free; all welcome!

5pm-7pm - The Danny Kyle Open Stage - 5 performers or bands playing each night, over 18 nights, competing for fame, fortune and a main-stage support gig next year.

8pm-10pm - "The Songs of Scotland" - live from the Universal club.

Full details of all of these shows, including guest lists for Iain Anderson and the Songs of Scotland, are on the celtic connections website.

Tune in and tell us if you like it!

Bruce.
