The answer's obvious! That genre is the "greatest" which allows the rich and powerful to demonstrate to one another and the world at large just how all-fired cultured they are by dressing up in fancy clothes and attending concert halls to hear stuff composed by people patronised by their rich and powerful forebears and played by orchestras subsidised out of public funds, especially if the programme allows for an interval where they can sluice down the pre-ordered champagne whilst braying piercingly at one another, with the possible added bonus that afterwards they can "step over the homeless" on the pavements outside. Or have I misunderstood?
