I'm visiting Dorset at the end of August, and will be attending another well-known English traditional event - the Country Show. In this case, the Great Dorset Steam Fair, showcasing steam engines (lots & lots of them!), country crafts, local beer and maybe a little local music too. We had a great time last year, and would thoroughly recommend it - beautiful countryside, and a huge & interesting show.
