What's the problem here? Before you chipped in about "soft southerners are crying again and getting their facts wrong about Scotland and the north of England", the only person that mentioned anything about the north was Manitas saying "Scotland and the north of England" in reference to Scotland and northern England having relatively worse weather generally when compared to London/South East &c.

Then you jump in about with "Manchester is in the north but it really in the South if you live in Scotland". I think even people abroad know that, but the point is no one has actually said different.

You're just making strawmen here and accusing people of saying things that haven't actually been said! If you want to vent your hate about "Westminster" then fair enough (London-centrism is a bugbear of mine too), but don't try and do it through a strawman argument over a bit of snow.
