Thought some people on here may be interested in checking this out

February sees the addition of a new venue to the collection of nights held by The goose is out! Having brought folk back to SE22... they are now moving the front line of the folk renaissance to SE5.....

8th - THE WOODLARKS, SPOONO
Venue: The Marlborough, 67 Sedgmoor Place, SE5 7SE
Tickets £5/£3 on the door
7pm

This is the fourth time the Goose has invited The Woodlarks to be our guests, and if you have seen them before, we're sure you will completely understand why and will be back to see them again at The Marlborough!
The Woodlarks are Brona and Tanya, who put their own unique stamp on folk songs from around the world. They met when they heard each other perform at the Magpie's Nest in Islington. Discovering a common passion for folk music, they decided to try a few songs together - and the rest is, well maybe not quite history yet, but definitely a good thing for the rest of us!
Listen to some Woodlarks tracks at www.myspace. com/the woodlarks
Come and see them now before they are famous!
Spoono
With apologies to the others, Spoono was probably the most brilliant local guitarist we've ever had at the Goose, and held the audience spellbound despite saying hardly a word throughout!
We're delighted to be welcoming him back to play at our new venue!
