Forgive me, but I posted another obit thread without noticing that this one already existed (perhaps a kindly mod can delete it and spare my embarrassment). A small but telling incident says a lot about the quality of Matt Armour and his generosity of spirit: He was the opening act at last year's Folk On The Green. There had been problems with the sound system and we started a little late. Knowing how tight the schedule was, Matt cut short his own set so that the next act could start on time and the rest of the day would be back on track. He was a big man with a big heart and a smile to match.
