First let me ask what HPR and GSP mean. What do they mean? Secondly let me say I look forward all year to Westminster. I know they say Kupps is the #1 show in the world, but being raised in New York I gotta go with the dog show at the Garden! What I think most remarkable was the age of Stump, Oldest to ever win best in show. As for Dogs starting to look weird, that is all the fault of the AKC memebers, generaly the breeders and owners of SHOW dogs, they influence the breed standards the dogs are judged by. What the AKC members have done to the German Shepherd is a freaking crime. They now have such small back legs that in a group known for hip problems, it is just stupid! It is also a trend you can see over the span of 25 years, the change in the Shepherd Breed winners. Still I love the show, I watch more than a few through the year on Animal Planet, if I get up early enough on Sat morning. WOOF!
