I listened to both speeches last night. Obama's speech was well directed, I believe, at the problems we are facing, and offered ideas to solve them. I was offended by Jindal's speech, as it reminded me of story time at a pre-school. Maybe he was just doing that in case George was listening, so he could understand, but I don't need a politician talking to me like I'm 3 years old. Jindal said a lot about all he's done for New Orleans, but I have one question for him. How many people have been able to return to their homes in the lower 9th ward? The answer is ZERO. Jindal should have talked about what he's done for the corporate hotels, and other corporate interests in the "nice" parts of town. BHSC
