Chutney is good on toast, with or without spreadable white cheese product. It's also very good on dead animal of choice. Check Rodale's Stocking Up III cookbook for a good recipe. I think the Mennonite Community Cookbook by Mary Emma Showalter has a chutney recipe. Actually, that cookbook has some kick-butt relish etc recipes. |
